Pros.
Has alot of groundwork. Stands tied, cross tied or single, easy to catch and halter, lunges wtc, changes direction off of vocal cues or body language, desensitized to bags, tarps, ropes, whips ect. Stands for braiding, grooming, picks up all 4 feet. Comes to mounting block while you're on it, lunges at liberty in indoor arena, follows with no halter, walks over wooden bridges, grain bags ect.... (read more) Loves jumping when asked to(videos available) does great with dragging objects while walking him.
Very athletic and has amazing stamina and energy
Cons.
Had about 20-25 rides on him but we gave him 4 months off and he spooked on his 2nd ride back from a gunshot and bucked. Would need restarted under saddle and wouldn't consider him to be green broke.
Very nervous around strangers after an incident that happened with him and a man he didn't know(can explain if you message me) and now he takes time to warm up to adults(fine with kids)
Needs to be sedated for farrier because of trust problem(dorm gel works great $25 per tube lasts him 2 times) or a farrier willing to work with him on building a bit of trust would work great as well
Can be mouthy and tries to nip at clothing(not a full bite) just nippy at times when he hasn't been getting exercise and when he's frustrated(he stops if you just push his head away)
Asking 500 price is very negotiable to a good home I have other videos and photos he's a very intelligent and goofy horse I would love to see him go to a great home where someone will work with him consistently
