Mickey is an 18 year old APHA gelding (who at this current moment is sellling grade because we are having trouble finding papers) looking for his new home! Mickey stands about 15.1-2hh and is one of the most gorgeous paints I’ve ever laid eyes on! He is built beautifully and has gorgeous markings!

Mickey is a sweetheart to be around and is very in your pocket. He will catch you in the pasture, has wonderful ground manners, and saddle up like a gentleman.... (read more) He will stand to be mounted and stands like a dream to be shod! Mickey is sound and has no known health issues. UTD on shots, dental work (last done a month ago) and just had a fresh front pair of shoes on. He is a very easy keeper!

Mickey is a dream to ride in an arena or doing flat work. He is safe for just about anyone in the arena. He will lope right off, pick up his leads, neck rein, ride bareback, stop great, trot like a little pleasure horse, back up, move off your legs, and move his shoulders. He’s great!!! Nothing much bothers him when doing this kind of work!!

Mickey does trail ride, but will require a more experienced rider outside the arena/doing flat work. He loses some confidence riding on his own and riding on the trails. He does settle in after about 30 minutes trail riding with another horse. He will walk out/trot and be on a mission first 30 minutes and may be a little watchy. Mickey has never hesitated crossing anything on the trails for me!

He does do best at all things mentioned when he has a friend with him!
