Looking for an easy going, calm, absolute sweetheart of a horse? Well, here he is! Diffie is a 2yr old 14.3hh (still growing) chestnut Belgian/Standardbred cross gelding. This is the calmest colts I’ve ever met. Nothing fazes him and he won’t blink an eye at anything. Very used to traffic, farm equipment, guns, dogs, cattle, and other horses. We’ve taken him on many walks and he’s been ponied out on the trails. Great ground manners.... (read more) He takes a bit and saddle no problem. I’ve sat on him before and he didn’t even seem to care. Stood to let me get on. Never offered to buck, bolt, kick, rear, or bite. He is still too young to actually break him under saddle so I’m selling him as a “project”. He is going to be an easy project and will probably be very simple to finish because he’s so willing to learn and so calm. He would make an awesome trail horse or an all around pleasure horse with some more training. He would also look great hitched up to a buggy! I took Diffie to a VBS this summer for the kids to pet, feed, etc. and he did awesome. Loved the kids and didn’t mind being in a pen all day. Trailers well. No bad habits or vices. 100% sound and healthy. Easy keeper. Barefoot. Learning how to pick up his feet for the farrier. Stands to be tied, saddled, and bathed. Good turned out or stalled. Easy to catch from the field. Super friendly and is always the first one to greet you. Hilarious personality and is basically a big puppy dog! Diffie is such a sweet horse and is looking for his special person. Asking $2,000 but negotiable. Serious inquires only.
