Meet Reba! Admittedly, I got too excited at an auction and bought her. I’m a beginner type rider. She is broke to ride, and her previous owner said she recently had 90 days at an Amish trainer, but she seems like she hasn’t been exposed to enough in her 5-6 years of life to make me feel comfortable getting on her. Once she realizes something new isn’t scary, she’s just fine with it. I just don’t have the skills to help her work through that.... (read more) I think she would work super hard at a job or on the trail for someone with more experience than me. I tied her up in a pen with our weaned calves running around her and she didn’t bat an eye at them. She has never once offered to kick or bite when she gets anxious. She is shod on all 4 currently and has a negative coggins.
