"Steel" is a 12 year old, "gentle giant", point and shoot type gelding that most people could find a need for in their barn. We get calls all the time for size, and you can truly never have enough in your barn that are just “uncomplicated” to take out riding.

He doesn't have the fanciest buttons, but he will ride right into the woods, rivers, over logs, in ditches, and out in the field.... (read more) He is sane, level headed, and easy to get along with - just put your hand down and he walks out. We have put kids on his back (under supervision), and even with the desensitizing techniques taking place, he didn't move an inch - flags, tarps, yoga balls, and everything else people like to see.

This guy does ride just as easy in the arena. Once again, there isn't many fancy buttons, but he has his leads down does what he is told. He is gentle, and the same horse everyday. That is something you can't always find.

If you need a big "husband horse" or just like sitting a little taller in the sky down the trail, you've found your horse. He respects fences, trailers well, loads and unloads in the trailer.
