Looking for a big, well-broke gelding that rides around with a nice handle? “Red” is a 15.3HH, grade Quarter Horse gelding with plenty of size and shape! He is a big guy with a solid build and great hooves. Red is ready for any type of riding or job. This handsome boy will walk, trot, and lope circles in both directions and stops/backs with ease. Red has mostly been used for trail riding through the woods and cane fields in south Louisiana and has more recently been started on the barrel pattern at a trot.... He is a forward mover when working in the arena and would be a great play day prospect, and will also walk along on a loose rein on the trails. He is athletic, yet very easy going and will stand still for mounting, saddling, bathes, etc. Red stays completely sound barefoot and is great for the farrier.
