Carrie is a 15 year-old Arabian mare. She has a beautiful flea-bitten coat earning her the name Cute-as-a-button-Carrie. Carrie was rescued and restored to health by our farm. She is looking for her new forever home where she will never have to fear neglect again. She is very smart and a quick learner! Carrie is familiar with natural horsemanship and round pen training techniques. She is ridden both in the riding ring and will go out on trail rides.... (read more) She will make an excellent trail horse for someone who wants to ride in groups or explore the trails solo. Carrie will go out alone, lead, or travel with other horses. Carrie rides with a hackamore. She can go English or Western. She is more whoa than go, making her a safe prospective despite her lack of miles under the saddle. Carrie is familiar and comfortable with dogs. She will also load onto a trailer. Carrie is more of a one-person horse as it takes her time to earn trust. We are selling her because we are a lesson and trail riding facility in need of larger horses. However, she will be missed!
