Othello P.B.F. Aka Othello is a purebred FHANA registered Friesian stallion. Foaled July 4, 2012. I really don’t know how to describe this horse other than WOW, I think wow sums him up pretty well. If he’s not absolutely breathtaking I really don’t know what is. This is the Rolls Royce of horses. He is exceptional in every way possible. Not a white hair on him anywhere as it should be and he stands a true 17.1 hands tall. Gorgeous head, kind eyes, a beautiful neck and a tremendous amount of hair and feathering.... (read more) His tail was dragging 6 inches behind him and we cut it because we were so worried about him stepping on it. It’s already hitting the ground once again. He is a perfect representation of the breed. I have been around stallions and Friesians my whole life and he has to be one of the best mannered ones I’ve ever been around, he honestly doesn’t even act like a stallion. He can be ridden with other horses, tied next to other horses and will walk down the barn aisle not paying any attention to all the other horses. This horse has never been bred and I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. I think if someone wanted to breed he would be a great asset to any breeding program especially producing Friesian Sport horses with the size and confirmation that he has. Very well bred. This horses grandfather is Teade and his great grandfather is the one and only Anton who I personally love. This stallion is not just wonderful to handle he’s also very well broke to ride. He rides English and western and has phenomenal movement. Definitely has the movement to excel in dressage and has a dressage foundation. He is one of the most comfortable Friesians we’ve ever had. You can sit to his trot in western tack which is kind of amazing with this breed because most are so hard to sit to. Soft mouthed, rides in a snaffle bit, stands for mounting, moves off leg, has good transitions and knows his leads. He is very uncomplicated to ride and is very soft. This horse is in tune with his rider and is a lot of fun. I know he’s a stallion but he’s really safe and quiet for just about anyone. He is quieter than a lot of geldings. Don’t look past him because he’s a stallion and if someone wants he could be gelded still. Othello is nice enough to be shown or go on and do just about anything. He has been in some parades and has been used for photoshoots. He has some dancing training and would easily excel at that if that’s what you want to do with him. At the end of the day he’s nice enough to turn out in a field and just look at. I know I love looking at him turned out in front of my house, he is as pretty as any picture. I’ve had numerous people stop, take pictures and tell me that horse needs to be in the movies. I think he would be a great movie star! Othello is truly one of a kind and if you want to have the best of the best than you need this horse. He has excellent ground manners, no vices and has the sweetest in your pocket personality. You call his name and he’ll come running, he’s that kind of horse. We’ve had this horse around for some time and have thoroughly enjoyed him but now it’s time for him to find his person and home. Othello is up to date on everything, 100% sound, has great hooves and no vices at all. He requires no maintenance or supplements. We do have him turned out at night only so he’s out of the sun to avoid sun bleaching. He has lived in a hot climate previously with no issues so he can go back to living in the heat if you live in a hot place he will be ok. Located in Allentown NJ 08501.
