Tyrone’s Shadow aka Shiloh is a 17.0 hand registered Friesian Sporthorse Gelding. He is 50% Friesian And 50% Percheron. Jet black and not a white hair to be found. This gelding has so many Friesian characteristics and looks almost purebred but he took on some great qualities of the Percheron like size, bone and feet. (read more) I see so many Friesian crosses that just do have the movement to be riding horses, they’re bred and move to much like driving horses. I bought this gelding 4 years ago and he was shown by his previous owner some low level dressage. He has not been shown since. For the last 4 years he has been pleasure ridden, did some lessons, trail riding and was a husband horse. Shiloh is a beautiful mover and looks great whether he’s standing in the pasture, in English or in western tack. I think his true calling is dressage but he’s happy to do whatever. He even neck reins, I haven’t had to many Friesians or Friesian crosses that neck rein. He’ll of course direct rein to. Has great transitions, good brakes and canters off willingly and on the correct lead. Shiloh rides around the indoor arena, outdoor arena, all over the farm and out on the trails. He’s honest and willing. Very sweet in your pocket personality and will take whatever attention you want to give. He has impeccable ground manners and is good to catch, saddle, bridle, bathe, cross tie, trailer. Barefoot with excellent hooves. He has been shod in the past so if you want to shoe him he’s good for it but does not require shoes. Shiloh is 110% sound in every way. He requires no maintenance or supplements what so ever. He can live inside or out and gets along with other horses or he can be turned out alone. This gelding is so easy to have and own. Currently on grass pasture and alfalfa hay.
