Candy is sold, but we have more on our NEW website at visit our website
She has one curly gene and the stallion she is in foal to is homozygous for curls (ZGC Vegas Jackpot) so she will 100% have a curly foal and has a 50% chance of having a homozygous for curls foal! Possible colors for this foal include, buckskin tobiano, black and white tobiano, bay and white tobiano, palomino or sorrel. There are two prior foals from Candy and she was a great mom both times.... (read more) She is due in April so you can ride her until March even though she is in foal. We would be happy to buy her foal back if you choose.
Candy is trained to ride and do many different activities as shown in the videos. She has wonderful endurance and loves to go. She has great heart and will go for hours on the trails. She is suited for a confident intermediate rider if riding alone on the trails and when riding with a group, a less confident and lower skill level is fine. Candy will sometimes second guess her riders command, so you need to tell her again, "Yes, that is what I want" and she will do it. Not with everything, but her rider needs to be ready to be a leader so they can lead her properly. You should know how to gait a horse or be working with a trainer if you don't know how to ride a horse in a gait. This goes for all gaited horses for the most part : )
This is a great 2 for one deal and a wonderful way for someone to get into the world of hypo-allergenic curlies! We offer a live foal guarantee on the pregnancy.
