Abe is the best halter I’ve ever owned on the trails, he loves to be out there. He is happy to walk through the woods with a green rider or gallop through the wood with an experienced rider. He’s good in a group or on his own and isn’t bothered by heavy machinery, quads, razors, motorcycles, gunshots, deer, elk etc.... (read more) Abe has been ridden both English and western and I’ve taken him to several working equitation and western dressage clinics. Although he’s never shown I think he’d make a great working eq or western dressage mount. I could also see him being a great 4-h mount or even lesson program horse because he’s more whoa then go and patient with green riders. He’s the same guy whether he’s ridden daily or sat for 2 months between rides. He’s hardy and has done just fine in Flagstaff winters with a blanket on. We are only selling him because my husband is unable to make the time to ride him and Abe deserves to have his person. He is worth his weight in gold but we’ve priced him low in hopes he can make someone’s dream of having their own horse possible – with that said we will be picky as to what home he goes to.
PPE is welcome at the buyers expense but I’m also happy to disclose the PPE I had done when we purchased him and any vet records. His only maintenance includes front shoes and he does better with a wedge pad on one. Asking $3,XXX
