Jackpot is a super gentle, friendly and good natured AQHA 4 year old, 15.2 Hand Red Dun gelding with good bone and nice big feet. He is a very personable horse that loves people and attention. He has good training and been in good hands his whole life and it shows! He is very user friendly to ride and be around. In the arena he has a good neck rein, will collect up, has a nice jog and will lope out on cue always taking the correct lead. Good stop backs soft and side passes with ease to open and close the gates.... (read more) He is a very carefree kind of horse who enjoys being with people. He is outstanding to ride on our mountain trails and around our neighborhood. He carries the flag, tarps, bag of cans and does not get wound up. On the trail he will lead, follow, ride quietly in a group or out alone. He navigates our steep rocky terrain confidently and crosses the river, trail bridges as well as other trail obstacles. Jackpot is equally as enjoyable to ride around our neighborhood. He is solid and settled with all of the things we ride past in the urban environment from fast passing vehicles to farm animals, barking dogs and all of the odd things people throw out on the curb. He is very much of a get along kind of guy and will most likely find you before you find him out in the pasture. Gets along turned out with other horses and is fine in a smaller pen as well. Jackpot has been used on the ranch and has had a little ranch roping experience. He is always gentle to ride and be around and has no vices or bad habits.
