Rex is an 8 year old, 15H, Paint Gelding. Always first to the gate. Quite and gentle. We have used him exclusively for trail riding. Nothing spooks him. He just wants to be in the mix of all the activity. Literally starts licking and chewing when he is in line to get tacked up. Rex does not want to be left behind! He would be perfect as a step up horse for a young rider, or for a beginner of any age. He has a smooth, smooth lope. We ride him on some pretty tough, steep trails and he has no issues.
