Presley is a bay 2017 model, 6 year old Mustang Kentucky Mountain Horse cross gelding, standing 15.2 hands tall. He is currently being ridden by an adult amateur three to four days per week, but would love to find a home where he could be ridden and worked with more consistency. Presley has had training with several trainers. He is happy to ride english or western & has competed in a couple recognized dressage shows, at training level getting scores in the upper 60s.... (read more) He has also shown at a couple western dressage shows and has dabbled with some jumping. He could go any direction. He is a solid citizen under saddle but does require an educated hand on the ground, as he can be pushy sometimes. For this reason, he is not being sold as a beginner horse! His owner is a dedicated dressage rider and is starting a new demanding job, running a small boarding facility & rehabbing her other horse, all of which forces his sale. Presley rides in an indoor, an outdoor and has also done some riding out in the field. Presley wants to be the star! He wants a person who is devoted to him and spends lots of time with him. He is happiest in pasture or paddock with a run-in shed. He has been stalled but prefers to have more space. He likes to move and is comfortable with all weather. He is sensitive to insect bites, but otherwise an easy keeper.

Presley ties, cross-ties, bathes and is easy to tack. He has always been barefoot and is very good for the farrier. He is the type of horse that loves to work and would do best in a home where he gets attention and works frequently. He is fun to ride and is just looking for a person of his own!
