TFR Amanda is a beautiful sooty buckskin broodmare. We have had her a year now and purchased her from a kind man in Texas. We adore this mare but we need to downsize. She stands 15.2h and is in foal for 2024 to a snowcap stallion. This foal will have color and possibly even carry down the cream gene and be a buckskin with Appaloosa characteristics. When we purchased Amanda we bought her site unseen so we have learned a lot about her in the past year.... (read more) She is a very stand-off ish mare, not mean in ANY way but just aloof. She adores her herd and when you do get the chance to get your hands on her she is an absolute doll. That being said she is not easy to catch and would be best in a situation where she can be stalled more often to get accustomed to her new surroundings. She also has a large blemish on her front right hoof, unsure how or what happened but she is perfectly sound.
