Rambler is a BEAUTIFUL Pintaloosa (half pinto half Appaloosa) gelding that is very well broke. He was ridden and owned by an older lady for trail rides, to teach her grandkids how to ride and for playday events. He has a good handle, rides on a loose one-hand neck rein, with a good backup, and stop. He is very smooth at the walk, trot, and canter. Rambler has no problem carrying a flag, opening/closing gates, walking in water/mud, down streams, in the woods, through thick brush, over fallen trees, up/down/across deep ditches and ravines, in the woods with no spook. One of our neighbors is a construction company, so all of our horses are exposed daily to scary noises and monsters. All of our horses are used to the sights and sounds of heavy equipment, trucks with trailers carrying lawnmowers, and the sounds of leaf blowers, weed eaters, and lawnmowers. The sights and sounds of backhoes, dump trucks, and semi-trucks (all with air breaks, and their other sounds).
Rambler will stand still while being clipped, bathed, groomed, fly sprayed, picking his feet, for the vet or farrier, and while being bridled and saddled. He stands still for mounting (from the ground or from a mounting block), he stands tied to the trailer or fence, and he loads and hauls very well. He is gentle, he is a big pet, and has always been easy to catch, is kid and dog friendly, and gets along well with all of our other horses (mares and geldings alike) he is not dominant.
Rambler will be a great prospect for; ranch sorting, team penning, grand entry, playdays, little britches, barrels, poles, drill team, parades, a pony horse, mounted patrol, queen's contest, trail riding, trail competitions, walk-trot, lead line, 4-H, FFA, or as a lesson horse. Rambler will fit any type of rider's criteria.
Rambler is a good looking flashy sorrel and white gelding, standing 15hh, with great conformations. He has a long thick beautiful mane and a tail that almost touches the ground. He has a beautiful face with a kind eye, a good strong thick neck and shoulder, nice wither, straight back, a wide chest and hip. Rambler will fit the whole family. He can take you on trail rides, and the kids to play days at night. He will put a smile on your face when you ride him!!! Rambler will be a great addition to your stable. This horse is the sole property of Doug Gittins and comes with; a 30 day guarantee in writing (as a signed contract), a current negative Coggins, and we give every horse a strep (strangles) and a flu/rhino 4-1 vaccine.
