Brooke is a 2007 AQHA / PHBA Bay mare standing 15.3HH that is a ranch rider’s dream. This mare has an AQHA show resume longer than most people’s, being 26 pages long. She has multiple reserve and Top 10 champion placing from the state shows to the Amateur Worlds. She is beginner, youth and amateur friendly and could easily succeed as a lesson horse, continue to be shown or be someone’s best friend.... (read more)
Brooke is a showmanship queen, beautiful in the HUS, WP and in the ranch riding. She is also lightly started over the cross rails. She loves the obstacles, will drag logs, trot over ground poles, side pass to the mailboxes, and cross all the obstacle bridges. She’s done it personally with us and our little 9 year old girl that rides for us.
Brooke has been loved and enjoyed by her breeder for the last 14 years before she was used in a college riding program. Brooke is a great horse for an amateur looking for their first show horse to be competitive on in the all around or 4H. She has a large amount of training and all the buttons to show for many years, just polish her up and enjoy her!
At the barn she’s the sweetest mare we’ve ever had. She loves affection, being groomed, and bathed. She stands for everything, is great for the farrier and the vet. She does well stalled and turned out, and does not need to be ridden daily. She is not marish, and gets turned out with 6 other mares and geldings. She is the mare that will meet you at the gate every morning.

When Brooke came to us, she was extremely cinchy and a cribber. She only seems to crib in the stall, but is easily controlled with a collar. She is no longer cinchy after being treated for ulcers. This vice did not start until she was at the college, and her teeth have not been effected thus far.
She is UTD on all care, and gets hocks & stifle injections 1x a year! This mare is ready to go and be loved and we can’t wait to see who ends up with her!
