This sweet gelding is Ben.
He's about as quiet and laid back as they come.
So friendly, loves attention, easy to catch, follows you around, good manners, etc.
He meets me at the gate every day to come in for his food.
Stands tied, tacks up easily, loads well, stands for mounting, we can't say enough nice things about him.
Ben is a more whoa than go ride, he's gaited but walking is his speed.
I think SAFE is his middle name.... (read more)
Standing around 14.1-2 hands and 17 yrs old.
Ben belonged to an older gentleman who was no longer able to ride him.
He owned him for many years and was very upset to sell him.

We buy and sell horses and ponies. There are several of us who work with all the animals and evaluate them, figure out their personalities and quirks, and let's be honest, they all have them. We are very honest about what we are selling and tell all the behaviors we have noticed while they are with us. Key words being "while they are with us." If you take them home, feed 10 gallons of grain, don't ride them and let them get away with every bad behavior possible, we can't help that when their behavior changes.
