"Oak" is a nice gentle, 12 year old, 14 hand, really broke, sorrel gelding. This is a cute horse that moves smooth and easy.He came off of a small family ranch and has had good riders and has never known a bad habit. I think that all level of riders will enjoy him , including beginners, children and grandparents. He is one of the most polite gentle horses that we have .. He is not spooky or shy, and is comfortable around livestock and wildlife.... (read more) He is easy to catch, load, shoe, saddle, and mount. He rides on a loose rein and maintains his gait until you ask him to change. He will one hand neck rein or direct rein with a stop and back-up. l feel he would be very good for trail riding, as a family horse, a lesson horse or a working ranch horse.
