Walks, trots, and will canter but we don’t do that much because we’re old. Great on trails, follows the other horses well, trailers great. Mostly pleasure ridden by wide age range around property, in arena and on trails but he has potential for faster work because he’s got energy .... (read more) He lunges and does other ground work. He parks out and stands to mount. Gets along well with other horses. Ridden fairly regularly until fall 2023.
Coggins and vaccines last done September 2022. Feet trimmed every 6 to 8 weeks. Easy keeper. Eats pasture in summer, hay in winter. No health issues. He needs a little discipline because he shakes his head or stands still when asked to walk and he gets barn sour after riding a little while, but responds to discipline. And usually better behaved after lunging.
