River Boyne's Confidence is Key Aka Connor
Born July 25th, This colt is tall, strong, and oh my the confidence
I'm not sure we've had many this well balanced and active so soon. He spends most of his outside time at a canter or with all four hooves in the air.
By our Irish imported Connemara stallion, Menlo Poetic Lad (Blakehill Sparrow- Cnocban Casanova X Kinamara Poetic Lady- Poetic Kelly).... (read more) We are so incredibly thrilled with the foals that Laddie has been putting on the ground this year for his very first foal crop. I so badly wanted to add movement to our program and Laddie did just that! His kids have our jaws dropping when we watch them floating around the fields. At 3yrs and still growing, Laddie stands 14.2h with heavy bone and the calmest demeanor. Truly an easy stallion to have around.
Not only is his dad spectacular, but his mom is our stunning main thoroughbred mare, Farasi. This girl didn't come with her pedigree when we aquired her as a yearling, but she quickly proved to us that papers do not make a horse. Her foals to date have been some of the best in our program and have gone on to be fabulous eventers and broodmares. Though her oldest is only 6yrs old he has proven to have the best mind and athleticism. We expect Connor to be no different. Farasi stands 15.2h, but wow does she have depth and bone to make up for it. Probably one of the more stout and definitely easiest keeping TBs that we have come across.
We expect Connor to mature around 15-15.2h and will be ACPS registered. This guy will be looking for a dressage, eventing, hunter/jumper, fox hunting, working equitation, driving, and or trail home once weaned in January
