Alas, I have made the official decision to downsize my herd. I have been building up my herd since 1999, so it is time for me to be going the other way now. Here is my profile page for this site so that you can see my current ads - https://www.equinenow.com/farm/rock-mist-minis.htm
Myra is a bay miniature mare, who is registered with AMHA and AMHR, both in permanent status. She was born 8/29/2015 and is 33 1/2 inches tall.... (read more) Her mother is a bay and her sire is a bay pinto stallion. Myra has a nice long mane and tail. Also, she is the daughter of Lucky Four Shadowbuck Johnny Angel (who is a AMHA World Top Ten Champion Producer and World Champion Honor Roll Producer)!!
Myra has a sweet personality and is nice and calm. Also, she has the most adorable and girly whinny of all of my minis. :-P She also has several white spots along her back. I have had 4 foals out of her so far and she has been a great mother. She also does carry pinto. She had her 4th foal in 2023. However, while she is a great mom, I would prefer her to go to a home where she is a pasture pal/pet and not a broodmare. She has a genetic issue that she has passed along to multiple of her foals now that is primarily a growing issue that cause their hips and back legs occasionally lock up a bit (some worse that others) as they are walking and it would be good if she didn't produce anymore with this as it appears to be a dominant trait. She had this problem a bit when she was young, but I have only seen her one back leg lock a little once in like the last 2-3 years and it was raining at the time, so she herself is fine.
My accepted forms of payment are cash, PayPal (friends and family only) or USPS money order. I do not take any form of checks and will not sell a horse without you willing to come to see him first...so please do not bother asking as this is will be my answer (especially to those horse dealers and scammers out there). Let me know if you are have any questions or would like to come see her. Thank you for looking!
Rock Mist Minis
I got my first mini colt back in 1999 and then a couple of mares a year or two later and pretty much the rest is history. My herd now includes a variety of solids (including bays, palominos, greys, cremello, chestnuts, etc), pintos, appaloosas and pintaloosas. Typically I will have a least a couple of new colts and the occasional filly for sale every year.
