“Oakley”

14.3 hh Gaited gelding, ? sound and sane! Oakley has been a grandkids horse the last 3 years, grandparents were having health issues and have decided to let Oakley move on to his new home. Since I have had Oakley in I have primarily trail rode him, some arena work, and exposed him to cattle. He’s been ridden by variety of riders. I have hauled him to the Arkansas mountains, had him tie out on a picket line all weekend, I have rode him with lesson kids and guided rides.... (read more) He will go anywhere you point him, he will go in water, cross ditches, over logs, ride along busy highway traffic, been around farm equipment, walks on hot walker. He is the same horse every time whether you ride him once a week or once a year. He is an easy keeper, he is nicely built and great minded. I put a new set of shoes on him before taking him to AR. He stands tied, stands for farrier and stands to bath! He is a sweet boy! I don’t see many Gaited horses with his confirmation and kind mind.
