Doc is a solid black Gypsy Vanner that stands right over 15hh. He has been started under saddle (walk, trot, canter), as well as under harness. He really enjoys having a job but would be considered green broke.... (read more) He recently attended his first public event under harness and did wonderful.
He stands quietly when tied and stands politely for the farrier. He has great hooves and receives routine farrier/hoof care. Doc is comfortable with grooming, bathing, clipping, and force drying. He leads easily and has good ground manners.
Doc goes back to Gypsy Warlock, Shogun, The Original Kent Horse, The Paddy Horse, The Coal Horse, and The Lob Eared Horse to name a few. He was the first foal to hit U.S. soil by ITS Dazzler (son of DaVinci aka Mr. Morrison). His sire, ITS Dazzler (Reserve National Champion, 1st Place Champion WT/WJ horse with the GVHS for the 2020 season), was imported from the Netherlands.
Doc has been shown successfully at breed shows as a yearling and as two-year-old.

He has attended his first show under saddle and did well. It was a local Saddle club show, but we were very pleased with his behavior. We showed directly out of our horse trailer, so he was asked to stand patiently tied between classes. He was also ridden all over the grounds of the venue, with a mare at his side.
We have full DNA results available on him. We welcome and encourage PPEs. He is current on all vaccinations and has a current negative Coggins.
He will be sold as a gelding.
