Need an all around sound mare who checks all the boxes? Meet Delia. Delia is an apricot dun standing 15.0 and weighing 1150 lbs. From the first ride, you know she has been there - done that. She has done cutting, roping and knows her way around a cow. She has since been “retired” as we’ve only used her for a family trail horse. She has been sitting awhile, but with a little tune-up I'm confident that she would make any rider happy.... (read more) She is great on trails with no spook and is wonderful with kids. All three of my daughters ages 9-14 have been on, under, and around her with no kick or bite. She loves affection and you will never have to “catch” her in the pasture for a ride - she will greet you at any gate!
She stands to be mounted/dismounted, ties, clips and thinks bath time is nap time. Wonderful for the farrier and has natural strong bare feet and UTD on all shots. She truly is one of those horses that anyone can ride at any age. She still has plenty of rides left in her, just come see her for yourself. An experienced rider who knows how could bring out all her bells and whistles, otherwise, if your like us, she's just as happy to trot and lope around the yard or go for a nice stroll down the trails. She was registered at some point but we do not have papers for her. Selling as grade. Located in north Georgia and cannot transport.
