**NEW VIDEO** Josie is a petite Fell mare standing at 13.1hh. She is a very friendly and willing pony. She's had 5 months of professional saddle training in 2020, and is able to have a comfortable walk, trot and canter each way. She also had 90 days of driving training, and is green to pull the cart. She is light in her movement, and sensitive to her aids. She is truly a joy to ride, as she really wants to work with her handler. Her primary role at our farm is being a broodmare, and it just wasn't her thing.... (read more) She is currently looking for a new home. She does have some summer allergies that are currently being managed with monthly allergy shots. (Super easy to give right under the skin.) She also has a cataract in her left eye that she has acclimated to very well and still acts without any ill effect. It is thought to be caused by trauma when she was younger. She went back into full time driving training as of 10/1/22. January 2023 she came back to our farm where we will be working on her riding. Josie is a wonderful outgoing sassy little mare that likes to be boss in her herd. She is super affectionate to both people and her herd mates. She has a great personality with sass, but is surprisingly quite calm and thoughtful under saddle in the arena. Been on a few trail rides and did really well. She is able to leg yield in the trot and a little in the canter. Spiral in and spiral out. Turn on the haunches. Take the correct lead in her canter. She's doing great!!
