For consideration: Catch the Wind (Flynn) is as sweet of a 16.3hh, 5 y/o unraced TB you can get! In your pocket, quick learner and very comfy to sit.
He will win you over in no time with his friendly and creative personality! Recently started being brought back into work after lengthy time off.
Flynn never made it to race training but he has a VERY fancy pedigree you can check on Equibase. He grew from 16hh to 16.3hh in the time I've had him and he's still figuring out his new proportions along with being a green ride.... (read more)
*For everyone asking, Flynn has no interest in jumping, but happily crosses poles and trail obstacles*
We've done bareback, liberty, R+ training. He's a push ride through and through. Flynn has done a few lessons for advanced beginners and does great! Even though he's still green and figuring out his limbs, his default when confused or unsure is just to slow/stop which is great for lessons. He is very easy to control and such comfortable movement.
As a baby he is still learning though so definitely needs more training before going into a lesson program.
We have taken him through our trails alone and with other horses, he is mostly willing and responds well to voice encouragement when encountering new obstacles. He just needs more practice but definitely likes going out.
I can share videos of him wtc from New Vocations but only have w/t recently as it's been super hot.

Utd on coggins, dental, shots, farrier. Stands for vet and farrier no problem.
Not the biggest fan of hotshoeing but tolerates if it's done in short bits. He was back in front shoes for the summer but got flares and is back to barefoot. Flat on the front but got good hinds though.
I very much do not want to sell him as he was to be my personal horse but I have to be realistic about what's best for him! This is absolutely no fault of his, I'm just too busy with rescues. He loves to have his own person and I don't have the time for him sadly - he would look great in either a western or english flatwork type career!
If the ad is up he's available, price will increase as he is still in training here until he finds a new home.
