Maxie is a miniature blue roan stud pony that my family rescued about 5 years ago. There really isn't a whole lot we know about him and his past. We believe he is around 17 years old and he could be registered under the Miniature Horse Association. We want him to go to a good home and will be picky about who we sell him to. But he has a sweet personality and isn't studly unless he is around a mare; even still he is easy to handle. We do know he has produced at least one foal in his life.... (read more) He stands good for the farrier. Not broke to ride or considered "safe" around kids, because he is a stud.

Since its summer we have recently trimmed his mane and forelock, so his hair is shorter than in the picture shown here, but he still very much a handsome boy.
