We are very proud of Tess and her achievements at just 2 years old.
Tess has all age-appropriate training and then some. She has been shown in-hand pretty routinely for her young age. She loads and trailers with ease and handles herself well off-property. She is higher up in the herd when pastured and she’s also content when stalled. She stands quiet when tied and also stands politely for the farrier. She has great hooves and receives routine farrier/hoof care. She is easy to groom, bathe and clip. She leads with ease and has good ground manners. She has been ponied by another horse. She leads through obstacles such as the pivoting bridge, gates, poles, cross rails, tarps, water and weave cones in-hand. She knows the fundamentals of lunging both directions at the walk, trot and canter, but these sessions are kept short due to age.
Both her sire and her dam have completed at National level within their breed shows. Both have multiple wins and titles from showing. She is a Taskin (Breyer Model) Granddaughter. Tess has also shown and done well; she currently has 63 halter points with the GVHS. We expect her to finish on the larger side, closer to the 15hh mark. She is show ring ready and would be suitable for an adult or youth to show.
Tess has filmed for Echoes on Netflix, she starred in Tales Of The Walking Dead and she recently filmed for a movie that will release this summer (we can share details with the buyer)! She works so well on set, she receives nothing but compliments from crews on set every time she works. She is trained to lay down on command.
We have full DNA results available on her. We welcome and encourage pre-purchase veterinary examinations or trainer evaluations at buyer’s expense. She is current on all vaccinations and has a current negative Coggins.
