Wonderful opportunity for an intermediate, aspirational rider looking to work with a talented jumper. Phoenix is a 2016 un-raced thoroughbred mare standing 15.1h

She’s been in our family for five years & has always preferred one rider over our lesson program. She’s UTD on all the things & has a clean bill of health, medical history & remains an easy keeper requiring zero maintenance. She is happiest living outside 24/7 & sound barefoot all around.... (read more) This mare is extremely affectionate & would never act aggressive towards a human. She’s spunky, wicked smart & goofy but she puts her heart into every ride & jumps whatever you point her at. She’s a brave & successful .90m show jumper with lead changes, has great breaks and no bolt. No buck, no rear (unless tied down tightly on the ground without a rider), no bite, no kick. Only vice is trailering but she loves my horse van (happy if she’s facing the exit). She would also enjoy eventing with more work on her dressage - competed up to beginner novice a few years ago.
