SW Smokin Forest aka Forest

Forest is the 2019 registered American Azteca (AAHIA) gelding. This smokey black, bald faced stunner has a sweet in your pocket mentality. He has had a very progressive busy summer! He started out the summer helping me move cows and process them in a corral setting. He then moved on to hauling out to Wolf Creek and participating in a weekend Working Equitation Bootcamp with a phenomenal coach/trainer. We slept outside in all sorts of weather and participated in the clinic with dressage and obstacles!... (read more) Because of how well he did in the camp, we then participated in the following Working Equitation show. He showed at the Big Sky Horse Park without ever being there before and scored very well! After that, he went out for his first trail ride ever and covered 5 miles up and down and all over Larry Creek encountering dogs, people on foot and on bikes as well as other riders. He led, he followed he rode off trail and he stayed on trail while our other rider road off into the trees. Not one thing bothered this little 4 year old! To finish off his summer, he competed in one last show and improved all of his scores! All of this was done under a beginner rider with very little experience. He does very will with shots, worming and standing for the farrier! He is truly a gem for anybody looking to do almost anything!
