JBK Gulkusi's long awaited second daughter (by Magaryf) is a very typical VNIIK (Russian Studbook) & ATAA registered purebred Akhal-Teke filly. She's blindingly metallic and, if I hadn't had her color genetics tested, I would think she was a dark buckskin. Since she tested N/N (no copies) for the cremello gene, however, it turns out that she is an amazing light golden bay color which is just a shade lighter than that of her sire.... (read more) She also tested nd1/nd2 for the Dun locus (non-dun1/non-dun2-i.e. no Dun dilution but may have primitive marks) which explains why she has a dorsal stripe and primitive marks on her legs. I haven't put a stick on her recently but she appears to be a bit taller than her 15.3 hh, 1100 lbs. Elite graded dam.
