Admiralty Farm

Deborah and her husband Jeff, own and manage a beautiful farm in Yelm, Wa.. Admiralty Farm is named after Deborah's first Hunter show horse, Satin's Admiral. A lifelong horsewoman, Deborah is dedicated to the the Hunter and Jumper sport and has taught all levels and ages of riders from beginners to skilled competitors. She welcomes Returning Adults, those people who rode some years ago but would like to take up riding again. 'Horsemanship without Ownership' allows beginning to intermediate riding students to experience the joy of riding along with learning the skills needed to care for a horse.... (read more) Limited boarding may be available for students participating in a training program with Deborah. Whether a student's goal is to ride for pleasure or to compete in local horse shows, Deborah is able to help them reach their horsemanship goals.

Deborah's qualifications as an instructor include excellent horse husbandry as well as teaching skills, patience, empathy and a dose of good humour. Working with each individual on a one on one basis in private lessons, Deborah is able to share a student's vision and help them progress to meet their goals as a rider.
