Steph K Equestrian

Steph K Equestrian takes in horses in need (many of whom are headed to slaughter through absolutely no fault of their own) and rehabilitates them, then finds them a more permanent home. Horses at SKE get holistic care - including nutrition balancing, professional Barefoot hoof care, and massage/bodywork. They are trained using humane, natural, and intuitive methods (primarily positive - reinforcement based / clicker training). (read more) Our facility encourages lessons from the public to raise awareness about horse care and training methods, as well as to spread good information and teachings to younger generations. Suitable rescue horses give Groundwork or ridden lessons, where the students learn how to communicate with their equine partners and their equine partners learn to trust and appreciate their humans!
