Sawyer Creek Appaloosas is located in Northern New York at the foothills of the spectacular Adirondack Mountains. Our horses enjoy 234 acres of meadows, woods, rock outcrops and streams. We feel this natural environment creates a social, versatile and vigorous animal. (read more) While most of our horses are highly colored, our primary emphasis is on quality conformation. Our mares are crossed on the highest quality and most competitive ApHC and AQHA stallions in the country. As a result, we have successfully and consistently produced national and world titled horses in a variety of disciplines. We utilize both modern and foundation bloodlines. While most of our horses have quite extensive show records and the majority of our offspring are sold to show homes, we are not a show barn. Our focus is on breeding to better the Appaloosa breed for future generations.
