Morrison Farm

Brooke and Markie Morrison are sibling team that were born into the Hunter/Jumper industry. Their parents owned a riding facility in Tomball, Texas where they got to learn all the ins and outs of running a full service barn and training program while attending shows across the country. Even from their early teenage years both girls found a passion in training and starting young ponies, having success with their very first project, a large welsh that went on to Pony Finals placing in the top 5.... Going into their professional careers both Morrisons took their own paths, developing their own sets of strengths and skills. Brooke continued with her education and training in the Hunter/Jumpers under top trainers. While doing so she won many National Hunter Derbies and Classics as well as taking home several Champion titles in the Performance Hunter. Markie followed her love for starting young horses and took a job training under Tiago Ernesto, gaining experience in all the steps to making a successful horse, from breeding, working with weanlings to two year olds and starting the three year olds along side him. Markie had the amazing opportunity to learn and show dressage under Tiago Ernesto’s guidance not only at their home base in Magnolia, but by spending half of the years in Wellington, Florida. While falling completely in love with dressage, Markie made the return to Hunter/Jumpers after 3 years away under Christian Rogge’s guidance.

Meanwhile Brooke’s small group of show clients had grown into a full successful training program. This is when Morrison Farm was officially established and Markie came on to join and grow the team that Brooke had started from the beginning. It has always been their dream to have a training program together and Morrison Farm, LLC. is a result of the hard work and dedication that has gone into making that dream a reality.
