Hot-Z Equestrian gives a "gateway" into understanding the horse's mind, spirit, and body. Using psychology and techniques under respect, confidence, and trust, students understand the horse's behavior, and why that behavior was shown. The study of natural herd behavior and different communications between horse and rider have given Emma Smith a motivation to share her knowledge among other equestrians. In lessons, Emma provides information on not only riding basics, but also the physical and mental consequences of each action on the ground and in the saddle.
Located in Southern Texas, based out of Duck N' Stables in San Benito, TX.

Emma Smith has an extensive background in equestrian studies. She has been riding since she was 5 years old, being trained in Hunter/Jumper, basics of Dressage, Cutting, Western Pleasure, and starting green horses. She has worked with many breeds, such as Quarter Horses, Tennessee Walking Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters, Paso Finos, Warmbloods, and Off-Track Thoroughbreds. She dedicates her studies into finding better communication between horse and rider, and strives for a partnership in which both dance together with grace and beauty.
