Heart and Soul Horses

Whenever I bring a new horse to the farm, I am always filled with a sense of excitement. Excitement, at the possibility of all that this horse and I can accomplish in the amount of time it will be with me. They are not perfect, but neither am I. It is my mission to give these horses a chance at another or better life than they had before. Sometimes they are in need of a lesson about respect, or they need the chance to prove their worth, and sometimes, they are just in need of a steady and compassionate human to be their friend.... These horses are not with me for what I would call a long time, but while they are here, I put my heart and soul into them. I believe that they are worth every minute of my time, and work to understand each one, especially the challenging ones. These horses deserve owners and riders who will respect, love and appreciate their abilities. I learn from each horse I meet, and it is my happiest moment when a deserving owner comes to take one of my horses home, because when a horse and rider are suited for each other, a partnership is created. A Friendship is created.
