I utilize training that attempts to make it easier for the horse to do what it is I am asking the horse to do. I do not want a dust up, or for the horse to lose his mind during the training process, although that might happen on occasion. My training philosophy started years ago with John Lyons, and progressed to include many other trainers whose methods are about establishing a good connection with your horse without using mechanical restraints that might force the horse to do what I want.
