Horsemanship to us is a conversation, however nuanced, between horse and human. We believe that every horse, no matter their background or their "behavior" deserves the right environment, nutrition, and attention.

Many of our horses are rescued directly from kill pens, feedlots, and low-end auctions.

When our rescues come to us they are first quarantined and treated for any immediate illness and injuries. Most of them are malnourished and need time with food and supplements to gain weight.... (read more) After they have regained their strength and weight and have recovered their health, they then have access to unlimited pasture life as well the the opportunity to attend school at our sister training program to gain vital skills in order to find a forever home.
