I, Celie Weston (born Celie Macdonald) am Danish with English/Scottish decent. My parents both grew up in Africa and I have during my own life lived in many different countries such as Denmark, England, Oman/Middle East, Australia and currently lives in Florida/USA.

Residing at my beautiful horse facility in Central Florida, I function as head trainer and instructor at Artful Riding Academy where the focus is Riding in Lightness, based on French Classical Dressage. Horses are taught the classical movements to improve performance, health, grace and agility. I also function as a Life and Business Coach for women in the horse industry and love to empower all women to find their inner Power Amazon through coaching, creativity, healing arts, spirituality and wellness. Various different types of workshops and clinics in the above topics are offered frequently for interested participants!
I have been featured many times in Danish media for newspaper, magazine articles, radio broadcasts and TV shows, documenting my work with behavioral training – rehabilitating problem horses and other animals. As a columnist, my articles have been published in both American and Danish newspapers and Equestrian Magazines. I have been a featured writer for Horseman’s News with my articles “Life Lessons learned from Horses” and the PRE Magazine – the latter focusing on the PRE (The Andalusian Horse) in Art.
With a strong emotional connection to Africa, I have a deep passion for big game and other wild animals – their conservation, protection and educating people about the natural world and the magical wonders that can be experienced by connecting with nature, horses and animals of all kinds.
Creative to the finger tips, I am an artist through and through expressing my artistry through the horses as well as song, dance, painting, drawing, music, writing and an interest in photography and film making – all creative expressions that I aim to cultivate in my clients on their journey towards expressing their artistry and what they really stand for in Life.
My purpose is to inspire others to Dare the Wilderness and Follow Their Hearts!
Riding in Lightness isn’t just a training philosophy, it’s a way of life!
