Miworth Equestrian Center

Miworth Equestrian Center is a multi-disciplinary equestrian facility, offering community, indoor & outdoor boarding space, an indoor & outdoor riding arena, hosting weekly workshops and events to develop skills for English & Western riders.

At Miworth, we've developed an atmosphere that encourages learning and development. We host weekly skill-building workshops for horses and Western & English style riders alike and have hosted some of the country's best trainers in cutting, horsemanship and liberty training.

We are located 17km North of Prince George, BC, and our doors (and stables) are open year round. More boarding space is available and we'd love to invite you to join our workshops and other skill-building events. Please email us here or join our community's page on Facebook to stay up to date.

Our amenities & services include:
-Riding arena (60ft X 160ft) with new footing perfect for Western or English riding (coarse washed sand) with heated barn & tack up space
-8 outdoor paddocks (4 single & 4 double occupancy) with a year-round automatic water system
-10 indoor stables for boarding
-Open pasture field for Summer boarding and riding

Services include:
-Indoor and outdoor boarding with water, hay and turnout service (monthly rates are competitive and available upon request)

-Open pasture board (May - Sept)

Weekly Skill Building (free for boarders!) & Community Events

"Flag Night": With the use of a remote-controlled flag, riders and their horses develop skills to rate the movement of cows. Riders and their horses learn proper techniques to "rollback" and to perform "proper stops".
- For boarders, this weekly workshop is free
- For non-boarders, drop in fee is $10
- Wednesday evenings 6:30PM-9:30PM
- Class capacity is 8-15 people (sign up by calling or drop in)

Roping with the Heel-o-matic: Riders and their horses practice their roping and pacing skills while chasing the Heel-o-matic
- For boarders, this weekly workshop is free
- For non-boarders, drop in fee is $10
- Friday evenings 6:30PM-9:30PM
- Class capacity is 10-15 people (sign up by calling or drop in)

Clinic & Special Skill Workshops: Each year Miworth hosts equestrian experts from around the country to help riders and their horses develop.

- Clinic/workshops have included: cutting, roping, turnback, and dressage
- Future clinics will focus on cutting, roping, dressage, horsemanship, despooking, Western dressage, clicker training and liberty training.
