Wade Rawlins Performance Horses

Wade Rawlins grew up on ranches in eastern and central Oregon. He began riding and training horses at a young age. His parents were both professional horse trainers who were influenced by Ray Hunt, Buck Branaman, Tony Garcia, Craig Johnson, Tom St Hillare, Brandon Stabler, and Shane Stephon. Wade has trained his own reining horses with his folks and is a successful showman and competitor in NRHA and ORHA events. He has a simple training style and friendly communicating skills that make him a good teacher along with a very pronounced natural riding posture that is pleasing to watch.

He is well liked and respected and welcome at many local and nationwide training barnes as he continues to learn and share methods, philosophies, ideas, horses and cattle with other trainers. He likes to think through problems and work with horses to obtain results that keep them healthy, sound, happy, fresh and well broke. He also has access outside riding in the desert country where he lives and rides so wet saddle blankets can be a big part of his program.

He has now taken over the training duties under his parents mentorship at the small family ranch where he lives with his lovely wife Emily who works by his side, keeps him in line and helps keep the place looking beautiful.
