Stony Ridge Stable

Stony Ridge Stable is a barn designed for training. We Specialize in sales; and training both horse and rider for competition in the show ring. Charlotte Gerstenfeld with Trans-Atlantic Show horses trains out of Stony Ridge, she has produced under John Bragg's tutelage in Noethern California, many national champions in the hunter and equitation ring. After 7 years there Charlotte moved to Europe to continue her education in the jumper ring. She worked in Germany for nearly 8 years in some of the biggest and best barns in world as a sales rider, and producing horses riding for the National Grand-prix's in Germany.... (read more) Charlotte has dedicated her life to learning from the best, and has now created a facility in which people and horses can come to train and see how good they can really be. Charlotte's goal is to assist and educate the rider on how to bring out the best in themselves, and their partner the horse, the athlete. Although she specializes in sales and investment horses Charlotte often says her greatest joy is watching her students as they learn and everything starts to "click". "There is nothing more beautiful than watching the horse and rider in perfect harmony. When the rider becomes an invisible part of the horse, not just sitting on top of it."
One can simply board and enjoy 25 miles of trail riding on the Manassas battlefields just a 10 min trail ride down our street. or join our training program which has historically produced winning results.
