Holley West Stables

A small breeding business based in Alberta, Canada we produce quality and registered Drum horses as well as Shire horses. Our goal is to produce tall and colorful spotted foals and to bring awareness to the lovable Shire Breed and the flashy new Drum breed that is taking the States by storm!

Don't know what a Drum horse is? Here's a rundown: A Drum horse is a cross between a Shire horse and a Gypsy horse, the goal of the Drum breed is to produce tall and colorfully spotted feathered horses which results as a mix of the two breeds.... (read more) Drum horses are a true fairy horse, our Drums are bred to be more 'modern' and sporty looking so they look refined and elegant as opposed to short, stocky and bulky. You get the height of the Shire horse 16 - 18hh and the additional hair, feather and color of the Gypsys.

As of the 2016 year we will have 4-5 of our Shire mares in foal to a Gypsy stud for a 2017 crop of beautiful Drum foals. We include payment plans as well so if you want a fantasy horse from your dreams but can't afford one all at once, you can still have one by paying monthly installments!

We also have the wonderful opportunity to offer out Stud services from our fully registered Shire Stallion Windcharger Captain as well! Stud fee is negotiable to multiple mares as well, so contact us if you are interested!
