Shira Horowitz owns Encore Farms, LLC. At a very young age Shira took riding lessons as a hobby and shortly became her passion. She was always the student that rode misbehaved or younger horses to correct them for other students. A major animal lover, Shira's big heart and strong-willed nature has made her very successful. She has successfully shown in hunter, jumper, and equitation horse shows. As a college student Shira decided that she was going to make training horses and riders her livelihood. She graduated from Wilson College with a Bachelor's degree in equine science in 2006. At Wilson, she was on the drill team and intercollegiate team.
