We are a small ranch in southwest Manitoba, on the beautiful Assiniboine Valley, close to the towns of St. Lazare and Birtle. Our goal is to turn out quality western performance horses with a focus on cutting, cowhorses and ranch horses.

PLAYBOYS LUV CHICS has been shown lightly in reining and ranch horse competitions, started in reined cowhorse training under the supervision of Al Dunning! "Snack" is the other half of the stallion power at Coyote Ridge Ranch! 2007 bay AQHA, 5 panels tested N/N. He is sired by NCHA world champion SNACKBOX (HAIDAS LITTLE PEP x BRUDDERS SUNDAY BEST X Docs Sugs Brudder) and out of SHOWTIME DUALLY, a money earning and producing daughter of DUAL PEP. "Snack" is a very versatile stallion with NCHA and cowboy mounted shooting earnings and is shown not only by a professional trainer, but also by youth. His first (limited) foal crop hit the ground in 2014 out of direct daughters of Highbrow Cat and Rum Squall! We are very excited for the the future of this great stallion.
Our broodmare band includes money earners and daughters of: HIGHBROW CAT, RUM SQUALL, BOBS HICKORY RIO, QUIXOTE MAC (x DOC QUIXOTE), COOL SMART (by Smart Little Lena), DOX WARBLER (by DOC O LENA), SONITAS REYSON (by SONITAS LAST), WRIGHT ON AND MUDDY (by LENAS WRIGHT ON), MAJOR DECOY (by MAJOR RENE) to name a few.
GREAT HORSEMANSHIP is paramount in everything we do with our horses. We keep this in mind from the first time we touch the babies, to halter breaking, to their first ride and onward. We are always expanding our horsemanship skills and knowledge by riding with some of the very best horsemen and ladies we've had the opportunity to meet. We believe in the usefulness of any horse. What we don't believe in is sacrificing the horse for personal gain.
