Hidden Hollow Stables is situated on 85 beautiful acres just a few minutes outside Peoria in Dunlap, IL. Grassy plains, gently rolling hills, timberland, and water features including a pond and a creek can all be found within our borders. Hidden Hollow Stables is the perfect setting for boarding, riding and training your horse.

Caring for your horse is our top priority. We will work with you to develop a care plan to meet the needs of your horse, while providing you a home for all your riding needs.... (read more) We have stalling available in two barns with 24-hour on site care, three tack rooms, several large pastures, and individual turnouts. We also offer an indoor wash area and a heated lounge area to warm up on those cold winter days.

Our riding facilities include a 70’ x 120’ indoor arena, an outdoor arena and numerous scenic trails. Additionally, we are located just a few short miles down the road from Jubilee College State Park and their extensive riding trails. We offer training, conditioning and lessons to accommodate all of your riding needs. We also hold clinics throughout the year on a variety of topics.

Services Offered

Training: Riders and horses need a solid foundation to make the experience enjoyable for all. Whether you are interested in competitive showing or recreational riding, we can help you and your horse build that foundation and attain your riding goals. Our training staff has experience in a wide variety of riding disciplines to meet the needs of any horse and rider. Our goal is to produce a true riding partnership between you and your horse while establishing skills that will last a lifetime.

For the rider, private lessons, on your horse or one of ours, are available. We offer rider training for youth and adult competition, as well as recreational riding lessons for the amateurs of all ages, building a solid foundation focused on skills, form, and, above all, safety.

For the horse, we offer a wide variety of training and conditioning, from a basic introduction to riding for the junior horse to competitive disciplines. We specialize in (but are not limited to) Western Dressage, Showmanship, Horsemanship, Western Pleasure, Reining, Hunter/Jumper, Equitation, Saddle Seat, and Competitive Trail riding.

Hidden Hollow Stables is home to a diverse group of both amateur and competitive horse-and-rider teams, from youth to adult. We would love to have you join us!
