Hollow Hill Farm

Over the past 35 years, I have bred a few good horses. My first mare was a rescued Morgan/Qtr. with incredible athleticism and temperament, and I still ride her half-TB out of her half-Arab dtr. He has gone up to 10,900 feet in the Rockies, as has the TB gelding out of my first TB mare; he is also still going strong. The few horses I have sold have forever homes and are prized companions. They have been owned by young teenagers to older adults, from those who show to those who want an all around horse.... (read more) They do Mounted Orienteering, 3-Day Eventing, extreme trail riding, and ponying at the tracks. My two thoroughbred mares were chosen for solid conformation, intelligence, disposition and gaits, and they produced these traits.
Babies have been raised so that they will be athletic and social: on big, rolling pastures with mixed herd. I am not a great trainer, but I do a good job raising confident, athletic horses who like people, and they are started correctly, without rushing. Some have gone to the track, but I have not raced TB's until they are three.
Over the years I have been blessed with being around really good horsemen/women and remarkable horses and learning from their wisdoms.
