KS Farm is a breeding and training facility located in the Peace River area.

We have a number of high-quality APHA and AQHA stallions with excellent bloodlines. We breed for temperament, conformation, beauty, and brains. The colour is a bonus.

Our horses are a product of several decades of careful breeding, and we prefer to keep older bloodlines that have been proven to produce outstanding working and performance horses.

Services Offered

Training
We use non-resistance methods based loosely on Chris Irwin's principles combined with our own techniques. Training is based on developing the horse's willingness, intelligence, focus, and ability to "think things through". We specialize in working with horses that have had little or no handling. All training is geared toward being non-confrontational and keeping the horse comfortable and calm wherever possible. They develop trust and confidence and understanding in their handler, which makes them a better partner. Recently we have begun exploring Carolyn Resnick's Liberty Training, and the Waterhole Rituals. This is taking our relationship with our individual horses, and our whole herd, to a whole new level.

We are a short distance away from Moonshine Lake Provincial Park, and from the Ksituan River, and from the green zone. We also have wooded areas and pastures available to ride in on our own farm.
